Sarah is a London based print journalist and radio journalist specialising in cutting edge social reportage and youth/global culture documentation. Whether interviewing worldwide pop stars or unknown grime emcees, reporting from a Kingston street dance, meeting gangs of area boys in Lagos, or going undercover as a champagne hostess, her work is brave, passionate and thorough.
Having reported from India, Jamaica, Nigeria, Puerto Rico, Japan, America and Europe she is constantly enamoured by the people around the world who offer their time, local insight and expertise to help her produce accurate and revealing stories. In addition to reporting she works as a university lecturer, youth workshop leader and volunteer for children’s charity NCH’s Independent Visitors Scheme.
She loves travel, palm trees, speaker boxes, pirate radio, the coast, countryside, eccentrics and huge platefuls of vegan food.
